Less than two weeks after he was making amend to a Georgia's Waffle House for a misdemeanor battery incident, rocker Kid Rock is facing another lawsuit for another alleged battery assault. According to TMZ, the 37-year-old has been faced with a lawsuit filed by three male fans in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday (21.03.08).
In the legal document (PDF) obtained by TMZ, it can bee seen that Rock was sued by his three claiming victims, Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez, after he allegedly lashed out on the three when they asked him for his autograph outside Hollywood club Teddy's on 22 March, 2006. Claiming that they have been battered and left "seriously injured", the three fans were seeking for $15 million in damages from the "Rock and Roll Jesus" hitmaker as well as his entourage at the time, the six members of hip-hop group Boo-Yaa Tribe. Further, it was also noted that Rock and Tribe have also stole plaintiffs' camera, bags, and other personal items at the time of the assault.
The battery lawsuit ironically came only days after the singer of "Picture" made amends to the venue where he previously was arrested following a heated brawl with another male customer sometime in 2007. After pleading not guilty for the case in a DeKalb County State Court on March 3, 2008, Rock signed autographs for charity in the Waffle House restaurant in Duluth, Georgia on March 11, 2008.
