Lindsay Lohan's Grandma Involved in Car CrashIt seems that car crashing has run in 's blood after all. According to TMZ, the grandmother of the 21-year-old starlet, Marylin Lohan, has been involved in a single car accident on Sunday (23.03.08) evening in New York and briefly hospitalized at Nassau University Medical Center for injuries.

Reportedly, Marylin, who is the mother of Michael, Lohan's father, was driving in Woodbury, New York when she lost control of her Nissan. TMZ reported that her car swerved and crashed into a pole as well as a tree when she attempted to avoid an oncoming speeding car. The wife of Richard Lohan, who is battling colon cancer in another N.Y.'s intensive care unit, was admitted to the hospital following the incident but released later that night.

Back in October 2005, Lindsay has also been involved in a car crash involving another car. At the time, the "" star crashed her Mercedez-Benz into a red van on Robertson Boulevard after enjoying a meal at the Ivy restaurant in West Lost Angeles. The incident led to a lawsuit filed by the van's driver Raymundo Ortega in June 2007. On February 22, 2008, it was reported that the rehab darling has finally settle the lawsuit though the settlement terms weren't being revealed to the public.
