Shakira's Sex Tape Prank DeniedRecently, 's publicists reportedly have exposed an April Fool's Day sex video (01.04.08) which involved the the singer, Alejandro Sanz and her boyfriend Antonio de la Rua. The reports have also suggested the singer, her boyfriend and Sanz were seen on film enjoying a threesome. However, representatives for Shakira and Sanz have denied the rumors by stating that there was no sex tape.

Commenting on the reports in a joint statement, the reps deemed the rumors as false rumors which were totally absurd stating, "This is a false rumor. This is totally absurd any way you look at it." They further claimed that it's impossible if such video exists. The reps even said, "It is a baseless and malicious rumor."

According to PeopleEnEspanol.com, the rumors was sparked after Argentine DJ Javier Ceriani gave his comments on a little Internet report on his Zona Cero radio show. At that time, Ceriani said, "It's been said... there is a private video recorded on a yacht, one that could implicate Alejandro Sanz, Shakira and Antonio de la Rua." He further suggested the tape was in the hands of the court.

Previously, Shakira worked together with Sanz on the song "La Tortura. The song was released as a single in April 2005. The single has achieved large-scale success in different chart formats as well as radio.
