Britney Spears is reportedly asked to come back to star in "How I Met Your Mother" after she successfully portrayed a receptionist in one episode of the show, which was aired on March 24, 2008.

Britney Spears reportedly gets a second opportunity to play in the television series. According to reports, the pop star has been asked by the producers of the show to make a return. Spears is allegedly in talks to reprise her guest-starring role on the sitcom.
According to The Sun, the executive producer of the show Carter Bays insisted that he would be happy to see Spears on the sitcom again. The producer reportedly wants her to play at least in one more episode as a dermatology office assistant named Abby. Carter said, "We always said, 'You know, if her character pops, we'll bring her back.' I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode."
The first appearance of Spears on the sitcom (24.03.08) has drawn huge ratings and praises from fans of the show. Reportedly, there were 10.6 million viewers tuned in to see the
Jamie Lynn Spears's sister on the series. Her performance on the show also made it the 4th highest rated show on Monday, March 24, 2008.
On Spears related news, the troubled singer has been rumored to launch her own line of children's clothing. Spears allegedly had a private talk with designer Christian Audigier at the Ed Hardy store Thursday on March 3, 2008. For the new line, she is reported to work together with Audigier.
