Reality TV star Paris Hilton has launched her new footwear range in Montreal, Canada. The heiress was reported to launch her own shoe line on Saturday, April 6, 2008. Allegedly, when Paris came at Browns Shoes she was welcomed by hundreds of fans who want to see the launching of her new shoe brand.
It was reported that the 27-year-old appeared on a little stage in the store to show off her footwear range. Paris, who wore a black minidress and silver shoes from the new range, told her fans that she was very excited to be in Montreal. She further said, "It's an honor to have my shoe line here. I'm very excited and I'm excited to see all my fans - I saw there's so many people outside."
Further, Paris introduced the new range which is also available in her huge U.S. size 11 feet. Reasoning for producing the footwear in her size, the "The Simple Life" star revealed that she wants others who have the same shoes size as her could use the cute shoes displayed in the stores without looking strange. "Yeah, it sucks, because I see all these super cute shoes in the stores: Guccis, YSLs, Manolos. And when they bring them out in my size, they look like clown shoes," she explained.
Aside from launching the shoe line in Montreal, Paris also promote her footwear range through her MySpace page. On her page, the "Stars Are Blind" singer described that her footwear collection is perfect for the young woman who wants to look great from top-to-toe. She also explained that she is the one who chooses the style, design, materials, and colors for the line.
