Actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been sued by her former bodyguard David Kim. Lohan was hit with a lawsuit from the former bodyguard on Monday, April 7, 2008. In the lawsuit which was filed to Los Angeles Superior Court, the troubled actress was accused of failing to pay him for security services.
In the legal papers, David claimed that star of "Just My Luck" has owed him more than $55,000 in pay and expenses for protecting her from fans and paparazzi. David also claimed that Lohan owed $1,500 for his car's damage after Lohan's driver crashed into his vehicle to escape paparazzi. Therefore, he has sued the actress to pay a total of $55,000.
It was reported that both Lohan and her production company Crossheart Productions, Inc has been named as the defendants in the lawsuit. The documents also revealed that David accused Lohan for fraud, emotional distress and breach of oral contract. However, the representative for Lohan has yet to give comment concerning the filed papers.
Reportedly, David was hired by Lohan to organize her security from October 2006. For his services, the bodyguard should be paid $4,000 a week for day and night or $2,800 per week if he accompanied her only during the nights. However, in March 2007, he quit the job because the "Freaky Friday" star allegedly reneged on the payment deal.
