Hollywood couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem want to bring their relationship to the next level as they are reported to be busy planning a wedding. Allegedly, the "Vanilla Sky" star and her boyfriend will tie the knot in 2008. However, the date of wedding has yet to be revealed.
According to National Enquirer, Bardem's mother Pilar has taken role in the actor's plan for wedding. A friend told the tabloid that Pilar has encouraged the Oscar winning actor to make his romantic relationship to Cruz official. The friend said, "Pilar took her son aside and told him, 'What's the matter with you? She's perfect! You love her, she loves you. Get married."
Further, it was also reported that the actor has asked Cruz's hands in marriage earlier. A source told the tabloid that Bardem has proposed the 33-year-old during a recent vacation in France. On the proposal rumors, both Cruz and Bardem didn't give any confirmation yet.
Allegedly, Cruz and Bardem began dating in 2007 after filming "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". Earlier, they were spotted spending time together over the Easter weekend. On the occasion, they were allegedly kissing and cuddling out on the balcony of a hotel in France.
