Only Few Wants to Be Paris Hilton's BFF Though being Paris Hilton's best friend may bring so much advantages, apparently her 'friendly' appeal didn't make New Yorkers turn head over heels to fight for the once-in-a-lifetime chance. According to OK! Magazine, the New York casting directors of the hotel heiress' new reality TV show "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" have been left disappointed by the low number of people going to the audition.

The publication reported that the producers who put high hopes to get a huge turn-out of potential applicants have to struggle in finding a person willing to befriend the Hollywood socialite's best friend as "less than 40 people" came to the casting call in the Big Apple. Still, despite the disappointment, it is said that the few BFF wannabes turning up were still able to make the casting directors interested. A source explained, "There were girls wearing matching pastel prom dresses with Swarovski crystal pendants and updos, ghetto-fabulous girls and two goth-inspired girls with bleach blonde hair, pale makeup, eyelash extensions and leather clothing."

Following this audition, there will be other auditions held in Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and Houston. The Chicago audition will be held from April 12 to 14. The hopefuls that fulfill the producers' criteria will be receiving a card that read, "You are cordially invited to join us at our audition to become Paris Hilton's new BFF." It is further explained that producers are seeking for 20 "hot bitches and fabulously fierce guys who are at least the age of 21 and appear under 30" before the shooting of the reality series starts in late May.
