Victoria Beckham's denim collection got poor sales and promotion, thus is finally dumped from U.S. stores.
Victoria Adams, has recently been accused of being reluctant to promote her DVB fashion range. Apparently, her ignorance of selling her denim collection caused the poor sales of them and it made many complaints to emerge. The effect of this was that the Posh Spice's pricey jeans have been dropped by top outlets, Fred Segal and Kitson and according to PerezHilton.com, the label was discontinued.
Victoria has been blamed by Fraser Ross, owner of Kitson, of her refusal to do in-store appearances for the jeans which is sold for over $200 a pair. As he explained, "We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn't. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell."
Apart from that, Victoria has been dealt with another blow after actor
Tom Cruise gave a grave concern on his wife,
Katie Holmes' health. Tom commented that Victoria was rubbing off on Katie too much as she was the role model of Katie. A source told The Daily Mail, "Katie sees Victoria as a role model. She copies Victoria's look and even cut her hair the same way."
Victoria has also been accused by Tom, of becoming a bad influence for Katie, since Katie has lost too much weight recently. The source added, "She is very thin largely because she is following Victoria's strict 900-calories-a-day eating plan. She is copying Victoria's fad of eating seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans. She is tiny."
