Miley Cyrus has a problem to solve before appearing at the 2008 Country Awards on April 14. The teen sensation reportedly is having a bad Streptococcus (strep) throat infection and tying to overcome it before hosting the Awards. Miley will host it with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus.
Miley and her family reportedly have flew to Nashville, where the Awards will be held, on Saturday, April 12. Before taking off she had a short checkup from a female doctor and also received some medicine for her throat problem.
The "Hannah Montana" star has done a lot of performances before her scheduled hosting job at the Country Music Awards. One of her last performances was at the American Idol charity program "Idol Gives Back" which was aired on Wednesday, April 9.
Miley Cyrus is currently being touted as the most popular teen musician and actress in Hollywood. She has recently won two awards at the 2008 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite TV Actress.
