Out of keeping a 15-minute film of Marilyn Monroe engaging in oral sex with an unknown man from public view, a New York businessman has spent his $1.5 million. The gentleman, who wanted his name to remain anonymous, bought the tape yesterday, April 14. The sale of the black-and-white film was arranged by Keya Morgan, a well-known collector who owns memorabilia from the estates of Monroe and her then husband, Joe DiMaggio. He was engaged in mediating the transaction of the film, from the son of a dead FBI informant who formerly possessed it, to the wealthy Manhattan businessman. Keya found it while filming a documentary on Monroe.
It was such a relief for Keya that he successfully tracked the film from the son of the FBI informant, who had provided a copy to the FBI. "I thought the FBI agent was embellishing it for my documentary. I never believed it once until I pulled up the FBI document (referring to the film)," Keya said.
Keya commented, "The gentleman who bought it said out respect for Marilyn he's not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her. That's not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen." He also added that on the film,Monroe wasn't totally naked, and the head of the man whom she gave the oral sex for, remains out of the frame.
Marilyn Monroe, an actress who committed suicide in 1962, was rumored to have had an affair with former U.S. President, John F. Kennedy. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, a Kennedy rival, was obsessed to try to prove it was Kennedy in the film. "The FBI agent that I interviewed said J. Edgar Hoover was completely obsessed. A team of nine individuals were analyzing the tape inside a lab. J. Edgar Hoover brought in a few prostitutes who allegedly had been with President Kennedy and they tried to see if that was really President Kennedy,"said Keya. However, the allegation has not been proved.
