Paris Hilton's Parents Gave Benji Madden an Approval

Paris Hilton's parents have reckoned Benji Madden, Hilton's new boyfriend as "the real thing" and regarded him as a family.

The love story of an American singer and actress, Paris Hilton, with her new boyfriend, Benji Madden, seems to be heading to a happy ending. The couple have got a green light from Hilton's parents. Benji, who is Good Charlotte rocker has been reckoned by Hilton's parents as "the real thing". The parents also believe that their daughter is "genuinely in love for the first time".

Hilton's mother, Kathy Hilton, told Vegas Luxe Life blog, "This has honestly become the real thing. It's a great love match, and I have a funny feeling it's going to go all the way, and we've already given it our approval." In accordance with his wife, Hilton's father Rick Hilton, told reporter Robin Leach, "He's the perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. He's polite, well-mannered - [he] even calls me sir! We love him like family already. Benji doesn't drink, doesn't smoke and is a healthy vegan!"

Hilton was previously gushing out to the media that she was falling in love with Benji. After less than two months of dating, she simply declared in a Tuesday April 8 post on her MySpace, saying, "I've never felt so happy and in love. He's such an amazing guy and life has never been better." She also said, "It's so much fun going to their shows every night, I now know every song by heart. All the guys in the band are so cool and sweet and it's been such an amazing and memorable experience."

Paris Hilton has also been reported that she personally apologized to Kim Kardashian, after stating a silly butt joke on the socialite, in a Las Vegas radio show. She spontaneously stated that Kardashian's behind looked like "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag", and added, "It's gross." Hilton explained to In Touch, "I was just joking around and I made a stupid joke. I felt really bad afterward, so I contacted Kim and apologized. It was a silly thing to say. Kim's hot!" Responding to Hilton's apology to him, Kardashian said, "Paris and I have been friends since we were kids, and I'm glad she made the effort to say she's sorry."
