With her age getting older, Kylie Minogue is now accepting the possibilities that she may never have a family life.
Unlike other celebrities who are busy preparing for their marriage or baby birth, singer %Kylie has different thought on her mind. The Australian singer thinks that having a family life might not be her life path. "I never had the feeling of a conventional marriage with a terraced house in the suburbs," she said.
With her 40th birthday approaching on May 8, 2008, the singer seems to accept the possibilities of not having a husband and children. Moreover, she explicitly stated that for her being a mother might just be too good to be true. "Media interest in super mothers is understandable. But for many that is too much of a good thing," Kylie said.
Kylie then compares herself to other celebrities who also don't have a family life saying, "There are artists such as Debbie Harry or
Dolly Parton who have managed to have an unbelievable career without a family." She also added that she might not be ready for having a family saying, "Above everything else, it comes down to how much love you have in you and if you are ready to give that love. How things will turn out for me with regards to family I simply can't yet say."
Revealing about her birthday plans, Kylie claimed that she won't make a big party and will only celebrate it with some of her friends. "I've not planned anything spectacular. I will celebrate with a small circle of friends and the next day will appear at my next concert," she said.
