Justin Timberlake Signed as IMG Celebrity Endorser

Justin Timberlake has signed a deal as IMG celebrity endorser and thus the company wants to fund his charity golf tournament.

An American pop singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake has signed a partnership with sport and entertainment company IMG to serve as its celebrity endorser. Thus, IMG plans to fund the actor's charity golf tournament and also "Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open".

The company announced the partnership on a press release dated April 17 and also at the same time made public that the tournament will be held October 13-20 in Las Vegas. IMG, furthermore, will be a consultant on the future design and construction of Justin's environmentally friendly golf course in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

Concerning the deal, Sandy Montag, Senior Corporate Vice President of IMG Sports & Entertainment, said "IMG is proud to work with the world's best athletes and most creative artists. Nobody fits that bill like Justin Timberlake. We look forward to partnering with a superstar of his caliber and global appeal to further build his brand and expand his relationships with sponsors through endorsement partnerships."

Justin, who rose to fame as part of boy band NSYNC before he finally chose to be a solo artist, has appeared in several films like "Alpha Dog", "Black Snake Moan" and "Shrek the Third". He will also appear in the upcoming films "The Love Guru" (2008) and "The Open Road" (2008).
