It seems that Lindsay Lohan was made upset by father Michael Lohan's declaration to the media that she planned to do a missionary work in India. On Friday, April 18, she finally spoke out on radio's The Billy Bush Show, saying "I just wish that he wouldn't go and talk to the media. It's not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. ... I love my father. I just don't know why he's doing what he's doing. It's a weird situation, very odd." It was also reported before that the actress' management has since denied her father's statement about the charity work.
Lindsay's father, on the other hand, blamed her management's denial about the charity work, insisted "I think we can all see that her present so-called friends and management have her focused on the wrong projects and things. If Lindsay would just listen to me and follow my guidance, like she did when her life was on the right path, and before the people you see now that are in her life, I guarantee that her life would straighten out and she'd be back to being the gifted actress everyone knew and loved."
Previously, Michael told In Touch magazine that the actress has signed a deal with Times Square Church Missions and wanted to do a missionary work in India next year. He revealed, "She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along. Our trip next February encompasses the issue of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims."
