Suffering From Ankle Injury, Angelina Jolie Rushed to the Doctor

Being pregnant for more than six months with twins, Angelina Jolie reportedly hurt her ankle and thus flied from home in Austin, Texas to Los Angeles to meet her doctor. She initially reckoned that her ankle was merely twisted but finally worried since it became much more serious.

An insider told Life and Style magazine, "At first she thought it was just a twisted ankle or something. But everyone was worried because of the pregnancy and previous problems she's had with leg swelling. Angelina didn't want to take any chances, and everyone agreed." Moreover the insider added, "Brad was really worried."

On April 17, Angelina, Brad Pitt, and the whole family boarded their Gulfstream jet for Burbank, California. During the flight, the actress felt the pain in her ankle began to grow worse. Thus, the couple planned to make emergency landing. "Her legs were swelling, and she was getting really wobbly and starting to feel sick. Angelina's medical team had advised her to head to the nearest medical facility if the situation got worse," the insider revealed.

However, Angelina insisted to meet her own doctor so the companion then continued the flight to Los Angeles. Just after 3:00 P.M., she was waited by several SUVs and her physician at Burbank airport. Shortly after, Angelina and Brad rushed to their home in Los Feliz where a team of nurses already waited for the family.
