Finding aging as a nightmare, Dita Von Teese always tries to stay away from sunlight. She is terrified of the terrible effect of ultraviolet rays to her beautiful pale skin.
Dita wants her youthful look everlasting even if it means that she has to cover up her whole body and avoid sun exposure. Considering that, not even a single sunbathing she has done. "I never go suntanning. My worst fear is looking down and seeing brown, wrinkly cleavage. It'll get white and wrinkly, but no need to rush it," said the burlesque star.
In 2007, Dita revealed that she brings her sun-blocking curtains wherever she goes and always eats vitamins to maintain her white complexion. "I have brought my own curtains to the hotel to stop the sun getting in, and I have only used the hotel pool at night," she revealed. Moreover, she added "I also pack vitamins to stop the sun doing anything to me. Some foods accelerate tanning, so I'm very careful about what I eat."
