Carrie Underwood Paranoid About Gaining Weight

Fears of being overweight, Carrie Underwood admits that she is on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and has a strict diet.

Being obsessed to stay slim, the season four American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is so paranoid about gaining weight. She admitted that she was suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), thus indulged in irrational behavior, especially in maintaining her slim body.

"If I put on five pounds, it's noticed immediately. I'm OCD like that. I count calories, fat and fiber, which is important in making you feel fuller faster, and protein, especially when I'm working out," she revealed to U.S. InStyle magazine. Moreover, she even thinks herself ugly and doesn't want to go out without make-up. "I think about what I look like probably more than I should. But I think everybody is her own worst critic. Some days I step out of the shower, put my lotion on, and I'll be like 'Ugh, ew, ew,'" she added.

In other Carrie news, she reportedly shed a tear when performed her song "Don't Forget to Remember Me," from her album "Some Hearts", during her concert with Keith Urban at The Arena At Gwinnett Center outside of Atlanta on Thursday, April 24. She broke down into tears when she came into the second chorus.

Carrie went emotional since the song was about leaving home and inspired by her mother. The chorus is "Hey Momma ... tell Me-maw that I miss her/ Yeah, I should give her a call/ And make sure you tell Daddy that I'm still his little girl."

"Carrie just got overwhelmed in the moment with the song 'Don't Forget To Remember Me.' When she reflects on what has happened to her in the past few years since Idol, coupled with the crowds' reaction to that song, she just reacts in performance," Carrie's representative stated.
