Despite the supports from fellow celebs, Miley Cyrus has been grounded by Disney, thus won't attend her first scheduled red carpet event, the "Disney Channel Games".
Embarrassed by her semi naked photographs in June 2008 issue of Vanity Fair,
Miley Cyrus will not attend her first scheduled appearance in Disney red carpet event since her controversial photos were published. On Thursday, May 2 Disney has announced the absence of the 15-year-old star in its event considering that her photos already went public.
Miley has initially been scheduled to appear at Disney's event and media party in Orlando on Friday, May 2 along with other Disney Channel stars in town to film the "Disney Channel Games," a charity competition. Meanwhile, Disney did not explain on the change in Miley's status for the party.
As previously reported, Miley's Vanity Fair pictures triggered much supports from fellow celebrities, such as
Heidi Montag and
Jamie Lee Curtis. Supermodel

Madonna also came to their defense for Miley.
"She is a 15-year-old, and I just wish everybody would leave her alone!" Tyra said. Moreover, Madonna claimed that what Miley did wasn't a big deal, saying "Lourdes (her daughter) is a fan, and I don't think she really cares (about the photo). It's not a big deal. What is a big deal? Let's talk about something that's a big deal."
