Having been rumored to be planning a marriage with boyfriend Benji Madden, hotel heiress Paris Hilton was spotted wearing a ring which was speculated as her engagement ring. Thus, she is said to have engaged to Benji.

It happened when Paris went out for shopping along with her brother Conrad and mother Kathy in Bel Air on Thursday, May 1. At that time, she didn't try to hide the blink on her ring finger. That eye catching view then triggered speculation that Paris will tie the knot soon. Previously, she was also spotted buying a book about wedding at an L.A. store on April 21.

However, a representative for Paris told OK! magazine that all rumors of an upcoming wedding between she and Benji were "false."

Shortly before this news, Benji has made a confession in an interview on Sirius radio revealing that Paris is his "wife material". Even more interesting, he did no denial when he was asked about his plan to marry her, saying "Nothing would make me happier. Wow, all right. OK. I'm not gonna bet against you on that. We'll see. I'm very, very happy right now."

This indicated that he is so much in love with her, as he has written a love song for her. Commenting on the love song, Paris said that it was the "sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and recorded it in the studio. He surprised me with it. It's this really beautiful love song about me."
