Amy Winehouse was previously claimed to be working on the theme song for forthcoming "James Bond" movie. The one who announced that was Mark Ronson, a music producer Amy was working with. He confirmed to BBC that Amy was involved in the track making. However, new reports said that the troubled singer is not ready yet to record any music. Even more interesting, the report came out from Mark's exclusive interview with Sky News.
During the interview Mark revealed that he has been forced to stop working with Amy for the theme song. "We tried to work for a little bit. I'm not sure she's ready to work on music yet," Mark stated. When he was asked about the possibility to make the "Quantum of Solace" soundtrack he replied, "I don't think so unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal on it so probably not. We did work on it but we never finished it so that's about it."
Amy's spokesman claimed that Amy has made up her mind about working on the track. "Mark has presented a track to Amy, but she had other ideas about the direction it should take. She has always made her own decisions about her music," he said. Moreover he added, "Needless to say, this is part of the process between artist and producer and we're sure they will continue to make great music together."
Furthermore, sources insisted that Amy's decision to suspend the sessions wasn't because of her health condition. Indeed, she didn't continue because she felt the song was inappropriate in its current form.
