Scarlett Johansson Is Engaged to Ryan Reynolds

It seems that Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds will tie the knot soon. They have already engaged as a representative for the actress Marcel Pariseau has confirmed to People. "They're both thrilled," the representative revealed.

Scarlett showed off her engagement ring on Monday night, May 5 at Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala in New York as sources have previously said that Scarlett is eager to "show off her rock" with her Dolce & Gabbana gown. However, the couple have not yet set a wedding date.

Meanwhile, Scarlett pal Hugh Jackman has since given his bless to Ryan, saying "Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest guys I've ever met....He's phenomenal." Moreover he continued, "And umm, we had a really good chat about his girlfriend, because I'm very fond of Scarlett, and both my wife (Deborra-Lee Furness) and I are very (proprietary) about Scarlett, (and) he got a big thumbs up from me."

Scarlett previously sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted looking at bridal gowns at the Monique Lhuillier boutique in Los Angeles. But she has given a denial toward the rumors in January through her representative.

Ryan was engaged to Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette from 2004 to 2006. While the "Lost in Translation" actress has initially dated fellow actors like Benicio Del Toro, Jared Leto, and Josh Hartnett.
