Jamie Lynn Spears' Intimate Baby Shower

Expecting a baby daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears along with Spears family celebrated her baby shower on Saturday, May 3 at the family's Serenity mansion in their hometown of Kentwood, Lousiana.

A wonderful and sweet event has just been held at the Spears family's Serenity mansion in their hometown of Kentwood, Lousiana. It was the celebration of mother-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears' intimate baby shower. Spears family including mother Lynne Spears, the baby's dad Casey Aldridge and sister Britney Spears were spending their quality time there.

According to People, about 30 guests were invited to the family's house for a ladies-only, catered celebration for the 17-year-old star. At that special occasion, Jamie, who was helped by mom Lynne and hubby Casey reportedly opened each of the presents and thanked to everybody.

"Jamie Lynn opened every gift," a source confirmed to People. "We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old-fashioned baby shower," the source added.

Moreover, though sheriff's deputies were placed at the gate and paparazzi circled in helicopters, the celebration was held normally and successfully. The source continued, "It was a normal shower, a wonderful, sweet occasion."

As previously reported, Jamie and Casey were said to have picked up a name for their born-to-be baby daughter. Furthermore, Jamie is "flattered to hear her name is being considered."

Although has already been engaged to Casey, Jamie hasn't made any plan to get married anytime soon. She wanted to focus on her upcoming baby before getting married.
