Are planning to follow the footsteps of Miley Cyrus, teen sensations Jonas Brothers are going to star in their own 3D movie. The film will feature footage from their upcoming "Burning Up" concert tour which will begin in Toronto July 4 and end in Essex Junction, Vt. Augusts 31. Just like Miley's, their film will be directed by Bruce Hendricks.
Bruce will make it successful as he previously did to Miley's 3D concert film which gained $31.3 million in its opening weekend in February. Walt Disney Studios President, Oren Aviv, said on Tuesday, May 6 that it will be very intimate and entertaining for moviegoers. "More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band's creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way," Oren stated.
As for the brothers, they bet that it will be an awesome and unique film. Thus, they even want to start working on it immediately. "We can't wait to start working on this film for our fans. It's going to be awesome and we really want to bring a totally unique and different movie experience to everyone whether they've seen us live or not," the brothers stated.
Earlier this week, People magazine ranked Jonas Brothers among the richest teens in showbiz. According to the publication, they collected $12 million in the opening of Miley's Best Of Both Worlds concert tour. Moreover, they donated 10 percent of their earnings to their charity, the Change For The Children Foundation.
