Jessica Simpson Engaged to Tony Romo, Wants to Get Married Before Ashlee Simpson

Eager to get married before sister Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson reportedly is engaged to boyfriend Tony Romo.

Has been dating Tony Romo for six months, Jessica Simpson is said to have engaged to the sportsman. The news was obtained from an insider who directly heard Jessica's friends were toasting the singer's "happiness" at P. Diddy's party in Hollywood on Friday, May 2.

Jessica attended the special occasion without Tony. At that time, the insider heard Jessica was saying to her pals at the party, "I have never felt better. I am really excited."

Moreover, the singer apparently is eager to beat younger sister Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz and thus plans to get married sooner. She even felt jealous knowing that Ashlee will tie the knot and get more attention. A source claimed, "Jessica would love nothing more than to get married before Ashlee. It upsets her that her little sister will be married and she won't. She gets jealous when Ash gets more attention."

In addition, Jessica has shown a ring to Tony which she expected to be used to propose her. "Jessica had been showing Tony rings in magazines. She was telling him what she likes, right in front of his friends, too, so it was really awkward," the source added.

Jessica previously created an unforgettable moment at Tony's birthday party, on April 19. She was claimed to lick birthday cake off his face. An insider told People, "She licked cake from his face as everyone cheered them on. It was quite a spectacle. But they looked really happy together. Jessica had blue icing all over her hands and mouth and Tony was laughing."
