Supermodel Heidi Klum revealed her romantic engagement to husband Seal that happened in 2005, saying that he proposed to her in a hand-built igloo in the Canadian Rockies mountain range. She admitted that the singer tried hard to find the most romantic way in popping the question to her.
Heidi, who got married to Seal in 2006, told Marie Claire that the singer took her by helicopter to the igloo. She was a little bit scared at first, but then felt so excited when she entered the Igloo. There were bed sheets, rose petals and candles everywhere as Seal made it in a very romantic way.
"(He) took me by helicopter. He had an igloo built there, and they'd brought up everything, a bed with sheets inside the igloo, rose petals everywhere, candles. Very, very romantic!" Heidi told the publication. She then continued, "There was food and champagne, and then the helicopter left. It was a little scary, too, because you're so cut off from the world. No trees, nothing - it was hardcore. But I was ecstatic."
Heidi and Seal got married on a beach in Costa Careyes, Mexico. They have two children together, Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel. Heidi also has a daughter from her previous relationship, named Leni.
Heidi was previously ranked by Forbes at second position in the magazine's annual list of the World's Top-Earning Models for this year. She was estimated to have earned $14 million, half of what supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who is at number 1, has earned.
