Another scandal has appeared and rocked Miley Cyrus' life, but this time is not about racy pictures anymore. The "Hannah Montana" star is dealing with plagiarism as L.A. band Lustra has accused her of stealing their song.
Lustra claimed that Miley's song titled "Rockstar" from her album "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus" is not original but merely a copy of their "Scotty Doesn't Know". In order to make sure, the band invited Miley's fans who are keen on her song to check out "the original"on their web page. A shocking alert came from the fans saying that both tracks have many similarities. They are the same in tunes, but different in lyrics.
Being alarmed, Lustra contemplated a further action against Miley. The band's guitarist Nick Cloutman commented, "Although we are very flattered that Ms. Cyrus took this route, we would have preferred some credit."
Furthermore, a spokesman for the band stated, "The immediate solution is to minimize leaks, and keep all future recordings in a vault, under extreme security." On the other hand, Lustra frontman Chris Baird added, "If "Hannah Montana" wants us now, who is next? The Jonas Brothers? That said, if (Vanity Fair photographer) Annie Liebovitz is interested in photographing us nearly nude we are certainly open to it and we look forward to her call."
