Geri Halliwell is set to wed boyfriend Ivan Velez at St Bride's church on London's Fleet Street in September, a source confirmed to the Daily Star.

Happy news comes from Geri Halliwell, who is said to wed her boyfriend Ivan Velez in September at St Bride's church on London's Fleet Street. A source confirmed to the Daily Star that the newly author has already had a big diamond ring which symbolizes that she and Ivan are going to tie the knot soon.

"Geri has a huge diamond and an even bigger grin on her face now that she and Ivan are marrying," the source claimed. About the time Geri will walk down the aisle, the source added, "She's always wanted to be a September bride."

According to the source, Geri doesn't care although her plan to marry Ivan is considered "hasty". She reckoned that Ivan is the perfect father for her daughter Bluebell. "It's been a whirlwind affair but when you know, you know, and she doesn't care if she's criticized for being hasty. Her daughter loves Ivan and that's the only opinion she cares about," the source added.

Geri has recently revealed that she has been contemplating adoption for so long, even before she has daughter Bluebell. She wanted to give a sister for her to play and share with. "I have a sister and would love to be able to give Bluebell that gift. I feel I have the capacity to love a child that's not mine in blood. Before I had Bluebell, even a long time ago, I thought about adoption. I'm open to what life brings," she said.
