Pregnancy rumors which were addressed to Ashlee Simpson for months have apparently been confirmed. She reportedly announced to everyone at her wedding reception that she is pregnant with Pete Wentz's child, a source told to OK! magazine.
Previously, Ashlee repeatedly slammed the speculation on her pregnancy and never directly answered questions about it. As for Pete, he called them as a "witch hunt". The pregnancy rumors started to emerge shortly after the singer got engaged to Pete. It was claimed that it was Ashlee's pregnancy which prompted the sudden engagement.
Commenting on the pregnancy rumors, the singer revealed to MTV in April, "I just think it's an inappropriate question to ask any woman. For me, that's something that I didn't ever want to respond to, because I think it's an inappropriate question." However, she apparently didn't want to put the rumors to rest, saying "Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny (reports that they're expecting a baby), it's probably because it's something they want to keep personal."
Ashlee and Pete were finally husband and wife as they walked down the aisle on Saturday evening, May 17 at the singer's parents' home in Los Angeles. It seems that the couple were so joyful welcoming their new life under a real wedlock, and moreover, expecting their first child.
