Walked down the aisle on Saturday evening, May 17, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have finally showed off their wedding photos exclusively through People magazine. This fact has proven previous reports which claimed that the couple would give an exclusive right to the publication to publish their wedding pictures. What is still questioned is that whether the publication has to pay for 1 million dollars for having the photos.
As previously reported, Ashlee and Pete exchanged vows on May 17 in front of 150 guests, at her parents' house in Los Angeles. The wedding theme was "Alice in Wonderland". Ashlee's father Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica Simpson, who arrived with Tony Romo, was the bridesmaid. Even Pete's English bulldog Hemmingway involved in the ceremony as the ring bearer.
Amazed at her bride Ashlee, who wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier and a cathedral-length veil, Pete said "She looked like a girl right out of a movie." As for Ashlee, she previously commented on her wedding, "Now that I'm doing it, I definitely have that big dream. It kind of went more fairytale than I thought. I got really into it."
