Lindsay Lohan is said to follow pal Samantha Ronson's step to become a DJ and at the same time is currently dealing with a lawsuit over mink coat theft.
Lindsay Lohan apparently regards her best pal DJ Samantha Ronson as a role model. She is said to be thinking of becoming a disc jockey, just like Samantha. The "
Mean Girls" star is even set to spin at
Naomi Campbell's Dolce & Gabbana-hosted 38th birthday party in Cannes on Friday, May 23.
Meanwhile, Lindsay is currently dealing with a lawsuit over mink coat theft. As previously reported early this month, a Columbia University student Masha Markova accused her of stealing a $11,000 mink coat in January. The latest news claimed that Masha came to further action as she filed a lawsuit against Lindsay in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday, May 19.
"Defendant's (Lindsay's) actions were intentional, oppressive and malicious and were carried out with reckless disregard for plaintiff's rights. Plaintiff has been injured by the defendant's actions," read the lawsuit. Moreover, Masha's lawyer Merrill Cohen explained, "We are seeking punitive damages, which can be substantial, especially if it turns out that the underlying facts amount to a crime, even though we're seeking a civil, not criminal remedy."
However, TMZ reported that John Englebert, a New York club owner who owns Prime and Suzie Wong, has offered Lindsay money to settle the lawsuit. He is even said to give a new $11,000 mink coat, just like the one she allegedly stole.
