Billy Ray Cyrus Amazed by Miley Cyrus' Courage

Billy Ray Cyrus realized that his lovely 15-year-old daughter Miley Cyrus is really a tough girl. He has just admitted that he was so amazed by her courage in passing a lot of bitter experience and controversies along this time. "I can't imagine being her age and going through what she went through. I'm amazed she kept on," the country singer told OK! magazine.

Billy also revealed how harsh entertainment world is, saying "I know the business can eat you alive, but I'm a calloused old veteran, and she's a young, teenage girl." He then continued, "It's a heck of a storm to survive even with maturity."

Few minor scandals which Miley has had apparently made Billy worried. He wanted Miley to slow down a notch, saying "I tell her to get some sleep. I swear I would try to protect her as far as sleep goes." However, having a hectic schedule, the protective 46-year-old father said that there weren't enough hours for him to have a little bit long rest. "I'm going to fit that into next year's schedule. My motto is 'Sleep when you're dead,'" he said jokingly.
