Ellen DeGeneres apparently is serious about her plan to marry lesbian lover Portia de Rossi. Wanted a private wedding party, she asked Jenna Hager Bush during the taping of her show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, May 22, about the possibility to use Jenna's family ranch for the wedding party.
On the taping, which will air on Wednesday, May 28, Jenna appeared with her mother Laura Bush. Along with Ellen, they talked about Jenna's wedding at the family's ranch in Crawford, Texas, May 10. "So, the ranch was a great place to get married, it looked like nobody could fly over and get pictures or bother you, really," Ellen asked Jenna. "Yeah, that was really nice," Jenna replied.
Jenna's answer has somehow made Ellen to think about her own wedding, saying, "So, can we borrow it for our wedding, can we get the ranch?". Jenna right away answered, "Sure." Ellen then responded, "Okay, great."
Moreover, Ellen also got an advice from Jenna that a sacred wedding must be held privately. "It's a good idea to do it somewhere private because, to us, it was a really special day to be with family. I definitely didn't want to introduce myself to somebody at my own wedding," Jenna insisted.
It was just last week that Ellen surprised audience over her nuptials plan with Portia during her show on May 15. She also stated shortly before announcing the plan, that California Supreme Court finally allowed same-sex couples to get married.
