Happy news came from Clay Aiken that he is going to be a father in August. People magazine has confirmed that the singer is expecting his first child with 50-year-old music producer, Jaymes Foster.
Jaymes, who has divorced a few years ago with no kids, is the sister of record mogul David Foster. She was artificially inseminated and due to give birth the baby this summer. David's representative told People on Wednesday, May 28, "The story is true. It is true Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay. She's due in August."
Clay and Jaymes worked together since their meeting on "American Idol". They have worked on several Clay's album, including "A Thousand Different Ways" and new release "On My Way Here". "They have been friends ever since American Idol, when they worked together," the rep added. Meanwhile, a source told The Insider that pregnant Jaymes "looks great, glowing and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time".
Although news of the impending child is recently confirmed, Clay's representatives have not yet commented on this.
