Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Just Married

It has been confirmed that Charlie Sheen and real estate investor Brooke Mueller are husband and wife. They got married at a private estate in Los Angeles on Friday, May 30, People reported.

Charlie, who proposed to Brooke in Costa Rica last June, exchanged vows with her in front of 60 close friends and family, including actress Rebecca Gayheart and "Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane. "They're well matched and incredibly happy," a friend of the couple said. Concerning the wedding ceremony, a source revealed, "Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small."

Meanwhile, Charlie and Broke are said to be working on their first child together, right after the get married. "Brooke is hoping to get pregnant very soon," the friend said. The actor's representative Stan Rosenfield revealed to the New York Daily News about the couple's plan in starting a family, "That's often what people do when they get married."

Charlie and Brooke made their first public appearance as a couple at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles, two years ago. The newlyweds are set to attend the same event on Saturday, May 31.
