Kate Moss has just lost her 500,000 pond sterling deal with Agent Provocateur after being replaced by younger model Alice Dellal.
Supermodel
Kate Moss is Agent Provocateur's celebrity endorser no more. She has been replaced by younger model named Alice Dellal, thus lost 500,000 pound sterling deal with the lingerie firm.
A source said that the sexy undies firm wanted a fresh new face to promote their products and they didn't think Kate is the one. "Everyone is stunned. Kate's shots were really well received, but bosses thought it time to move on. They want a fresh new face and think they've found just the candidate in Alice," the source stated. As for Alice, she has already posed for a secret photoshoot which will be released in September.
This isn't the first time Kate loses her contract with Agent Provocateur. Before coming back for the lingerie ads this year, she previously was dismissed by the firm in 2007. Her contract wasn't renewed at that time due to a strained relationship with co-owner Serena Rees.
Meanwhile, Agent Provocateur isn't the only firm which has ever replaced her with another model. Her place at Yves Saint Laurent in March was given to model
Naomi Campbell, while at Burberry, she was substituted by 22-year-old Agyness Deyn.
