Zac Efron Wins MTV Movie Award, Gets Kiss From Vanessa Hudgens

Zac Efron won big at MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 1, thus got a kiss from girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Sunday, June 1 was a lucky day for heartthrob Zac Efron as he won big at MTV Movie Awards. He even got a double happiness when his name was announced and at the same time, got a kiss from girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

Zac, who attended the award with Vanessa, won the prize for best breakthrough performance for his role as Link Larkin in 2007 movie musical "Hairspray". Concerning his win, he said that it was "frightening. It's crazy. It's the last thing you expect. I was up against so many fantastic performances-the entire cast of "Superbad", almost, which was one of my favorite movies of the year."

Feeling proud, Zac showed off his trophy to Vanessa and then handing it to her for inspection. "Check it out," he told her. "It's not as heavy as I thought," Vanessa said.

Zac also received a lot of attention from fans, especially teenage girls, while walking on the red carpet. "You never know with teenage girls. It's funny. But they're always, most of the time they're pretty respectful, and I love 'em. I'm very grateful," Zac revealed.

Zac is back on campus for his role as Troy Bolton in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year". Concerning the new production, he told People "When I got there everyone was calm, collected. They were working really hard."
