Happy news comes from Ethan Hawke and his pregnant former-nanny girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes, that they want to take their relationship to the next level, coming under wedlock. While a baby is on the way, the couple are said to have applied for a marriage license and will probably get married this week.
It was gossip site Perez Hilton which broke the news, quoted a source as saying, "Ethan and Ryan are taking out their marriage license any day now." The source then continued, "I wouldn't be surprised if they had the wedding this week!"
Moreover, a source told Page Six that Ethan and Ryan were seen at the Municipal Building on Centre Street on Tuesday, May 3, applying for their marriage license. "They looked really sweet," said the onlooker. While the marriage news have already leaked, the actor's representative has not yet commented on this.
Ethan has been dating Ryan, who used to work as a nanny for his and ex-wife Uma Thurman's children, for more than two years. Their romance began after the actor and Uma divorced. A source told New York Daily News that Ryan confessed her feelings to Ethan a year after the divorce.
