After getting so much success with her shoe line, Jessica Simpson finally decides to design a line of lingerie and is set to launch it in Spring 2009.
After having her famous name attached to handbags, shoes, sunglasses and swimsuits,
Jessica Simpson finally decided to design a line of underwear. It will be a collection of bras, undies, pajamas, daywear and panty-line erasing shapewear, which will hit stores Spring next year.
Jessica revealed her interest in making her own lingerie to Women's Wear Line, "I like different lingerie for different occasions." She moreover added, "I think that's the best thing about it. You can feel sexy or girly depending on your mood." Jessica had so much success with her shoe and fashion line and it seems that she will make a success of her intimates collection.
Meanwhile, according to the publication, the singer's five-year-old fashion franchise at the Camuto Group, which holds the master license for her brand, is expected to gain much revenue in 2008. Kristin Kohler, senior vice president of licensing at Camuto revealed that the franchise is projected to generate wholesale revenues of $300 million this year.
In other Jessica news, her on-off boyfriend Tony Romo is set to star in her new music video. Latest reports claim that she asked him to help her with the video for her first country music single "Come On Over". "Tony says he'd love to support her. And if it's not for publicity, he thinks this might be fun for them to do together," a source revealed. Jessica and Tony were rumored to have ended their romance but the pair still continues to hang out together.
