Marriage is on the way for Brazillian supermodel Adriana Lima and her boyfriend, basketball star Marko Jaric. It was the model's representative who broke the news, telling People magazine exclusively that the couple got engaged.
Publicist James Weir told the publication that Marko has popped the question to Adriana and she has agreed to marry him. The couple, who have been dating for nine months, got engaged on Thursday night, June 12, when the Victoria's Secret model celebrated her 27th birthday. "He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn't be more in love," James revealed.
Marko, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, previously revealed to the publication in March about his love life, saying "I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint." He then added, "Now, it's a little different situation."
