Lesbian Queen Latifah Wants to Have Children

After being rumored to marry her lesbian lover, Queen Latifah apparently is ready to be a mom as she admits that she wants to have children.

Lesbian Queen Latifah previously was rumored to marry girlfriend, Jeanette Jenkins, and wait to set a date until she has time for a honeymoon. It seems that the rapper-turned-actress is ready for the nuptials and even eager to be a mom as she admits that she wants to have children.

Queen revealed she wants to have children to OK! Magazine during the League National Awards and Recognition Luncheon, saying "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! There's the intention. I don't know when, but it's going to happen." She then added, "It's going to have to happen eventually. I'm not sure when, but I would love to have children for sure."

Wedding rumors began to emerge in Queen's life early this month after a family insider told National Enquirer that she and Jeanette were arranging their wedding and honeymoon date. "Queen is very busy with her career, so she wants to wait to set a date until she has time for a honeymoon," a family insider revealed. According to the insider, the lesbian couple, who live together at their homes in New Jerset and Los Angeles, wanted to keep their upcoming wedding as a top secret since there were still some resistance toward gay relationship.

The insider explained, "The two are being very secretive about the upcoming ceremony and have only told immediate family members." Furthermore the source added, "Queen is concerned about her career. She knows people's attitude toward gay relationships and marriages are changing, but there is still some resistance, so she wants to keep a low profile."
