It was previously reported that Leona Lewis is going to sing for the soundtrack of new James Bond film, "Quantum of Solace". However, her representatives have come to denial that the "The X Factor" winner is not about to record the theme song.
The representatives insisted that the previous reports are not true, telling Access Hollywood that Leona has not yet been approached by the movie's producers for the theme song. It seems that rumors which claimed Simon Cowell suggested to the movie's producers to choose Leona for singing the soundtrack are also not true.
The bond-theme rumors emerged a week ago, claimed that Leona was in talks with the film producers for the possibility of recording the theme song. A source told The Sun that she "is seen as one of the few candidates who has the right profile both sides of the pond to do it." The source continued, "Amy was their original choice. The Bond guys now look set on Leona. She is reliable and has a great voice for it."
Last month, it was Beyonce Knowles who was rumored to have been chosen for the movie's theme song. Weeks before the song project was given to the R&B singer, Amy Winehouse was initially attached to it. Amy then pulled out and was said to be "not ready" for any music record. Music producer Mark Ronson revealed that she wasn't in a fit state and it would be a miracle if she could record the soundtrack.
