It was just a false report that Emma Watson is going to be the next brand ambassador for Chanel perfume, Coco Mademoiselle. A representative for the French fashion house has come to denial of the report, claiming that it is "just a rumor" and "It's false."
Chanel-ad rumors which are recently addressed to Emma started to swirl after a source told Daily Mail that the 18-year-old actress has signed a 3-million pound sterling two-year contract with the fashion house. She was also said to be replacing former ambassador, Keira Knightley, whose contract with Chanel ends this summer.
The source told the news media, "Emma has been excitedly telling friends that she is going to be taking over from Keira." The source then added that Emma "has been slowly integrated into the Chanel brand. They have been dressing her for film premieres and parties over recent months to see if she is the right fit." Moreover, the source revealed "Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up. Chanel realizes it is important to target a young audience."
