Again, Rihanna Denies She's Dating Chris Brown

Rihanna has once more come to denial of dating rumors which were recently addressed to her and Chris Brown.

Rihanna apparently still plays coy when it comes to her romance with Chris Brown. Despite evidence of their romantic actions along this time, however, the "Umbrella" hit maker claims that they are not dating.

During an appearance on U.S. TV show "The View" on Monday, June 23 Rihanna came to denial of her romance with Chris, saying "We hang out a lot. We are very close. He's an amazing person. But we are not dating. We are very close, very, very close." She said about the difference between a friendship and romance, adding "There's a big difference and I think you know what."

Further, Rihanna told People during Cartier Love Day at the Empire State Building red last week that she regarded Chris as someone who always entertains her. "I am tired of being depressed and I'm exhausted sometimes, so I need a picker-upper," she said in a statement. Concerning the possibility to duet with him the beauty added, "I would love to duet with him, which has nothing to do with being in love. It comes from my love of music."

On the other hand, rumors began to swirl that Chris' mother Joyce Hawkins has given a seal of approval to his son and Rihanna. A source told E! Online that Joyce was overheard saying "Rihanna is the sexiest and sweetest girl Chris has ever dated."

Rihanna made a trip to GBK Productions' Fire & Ice gifting lounge for the BET Awards over the weekend with Chris and Joyce. The source added that the beauty and her speculated beau "came through holding hands and kissing each other on the neck."

In other Rihanna news, she finally spoke out about her new tattoo on her left shoulder which recently fueled lesbian rumors. "It's Roman numerals. Me and my best friend got the same thing. This is her date of birth and she has mine. I love her so much. More than some of my family. She's a blood sister," she revealed on "The View" show.
