Amy Winehouse Released From Hospital, Smoking Again
Having been diagnosed with emphysema after taking some medical tests following her fainting, was finally released from the hospital. Despite being struck by the deadly lung condition, however, the troubled singer is back to her old dangerous habit which could lead into early death, smoking cigarettes.

Amy was seen smiling as she was released from the hospital and moved into a cab on Monday, June 23. She was spotted lighting up a cigarette although doctors have warned her that she must stop smoking and taking drugs. Showing to everybody as if nothing happen to her health, she stopped off for a brief shopping trip before returning home.

Amy was taken to the hospital to undergo some medical tests after she fainted at her London home on Monday afternoon, June 16. Her father Mitch was devastated knowing that she was suffering from emphysema. He told Sunday Mirror on Saturday, June 21 "To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter's life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her. It's been a tough week."

Doctors claimed Amy wouldn't able to breathe if she continues smoking cocaine. "The doctors have said that if she had continued the way she was going she could have ended up an invalid - she wouldn't have been able to breathe," Mitch explained. Further, he stated that Amy would end like an old person in a wheelchair within a month, unless she takes the doctor's advice. "She's got emphysema. Iit's in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month they painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe," he said. The worried dad then continued, "With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She's got 70 per cent lung capacity."
