Shocking news comes from Heather Locklear that she has checked into rehab, seeking medical help for anxiety and depression. Her representative, Cece Yorke, confirmed exclusively to People magazine on Tuesday, June 24 that the actress has entered into a medical facility in Arizona.
Concerning Heather's psychological treatment, Cece said in a statement "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment." The rep continued adding, "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."
Three months ago, Heather was under a great depression as her medical rep called 911, fearing the actress was suicidal and could overdose on her depression medication. However, she then calmed herself down, insisting she didn't need medical treatment.
Heather's divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was finalized in April 2007. They have a daughter together, Ava Elizabeth, who was born in October 1997. The actress is said to be dating former "Melrose Place" co-star Jack Wagner, while Richie, who was arrested for DUI in March, dated Denise Richards from 2006 until 2007.
