After obtaining a marriage license, Ruben Studdard and his fiancee, Surata Zuri McCants, are going to tie the knot this weekend, a rep for the singer confirmed to People. The publication reported that the couple will get married in Mountainbrook in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, June 28.
A friend revealed to the magazine that Ruben and Surata will exchange vows at Canterbury United Methodist Church with at least 20 groomsmen at the singer's side. He and his groomsmen will wear black Joseph Abboud tuxedos from local outfitter Mr. Burch Formal Wear, according to the source. The "American Idol" winner will also wear a white vest and a white hand-tied bow tie, while the groomsmen will wear black shirts with black vests.
Ruben and Surata obtained their marriage license at the Shelby County Probate Office in Birmingham Alabama on Monday, June 23. The marriage license is valid for 30 days.
