Chris Brown that he became the early winner at BET Awards, which was held on Tuesday night, June 24. He won the night's first award, "Best Male R&B Artist".
At the awards, Chris was seated next to his rumored girlfriend,
Rihanna. As he win, the 19-year-old singer thanked "my mom, God, everybody. If I leave y'all out, I'm sorry."
It was famous singer
Usher who opened the awards, performing "Love in this Club" from his latest album, "Here I Stand". He rocked the stage alongside voluptuous dancers, giving the show a high-energy start.
Meanwhile, other early winners of the awards are
Kobe Bryant, who won the "Best Male Athlete", and
Missy Elliott, who won "Best Female Hip-hop Artist". However, they weren't there to collect their awards.
