It seems that Kylie Minogue tries to rekindle romance with ex lover, Olivier Martinez. The two were spotted cozying up while having lunch in Paris on Tuesday, June 24, fueling speculation that they become a couple again.
For months, Kylie has slammed rumors of a reconciliation with Olivier, insisting they're just friends who have a "special bond". However, action speaks louder than her words as she was snapped passionately resting her head on the French actor's shoulder and at one point sharing an embrace at the lunch during a break from her KylieX2008 tour. The pop princess looked happier than ever as she laughed and joked together with him throughout the meal. Her parents, Ron and Carol, stylist William Baker were also there.
Kylie, who turned 40 last month, split from Olivier in February 2007 following speculations that he had been unfaithful. They described the break-up as "mutual and amicable" and insisted to remain close friends. Reconciliation rumors then emerged after a source told the Daily Mail in February, "A mutual Parisian friend passed a message on to Kylie that Ollie was pining for her and deeply regretted the break-up. Two weeks later, Ollie called her late one night when he was a bit drunk. That was their first conversation in almost a year. Since that time, they have been regularly calling, having intense conversations and texting incessantly."
However, Kylie played coy when it came to her relationship with Olivier. When asked in February whether her romance with him was back on, the singer said, "I had dinner with my ex-boyfriend and next thing I know there's a debate about whether we're having a family. We didn't even talk about that. As I've maintained, we're friends."
