Madonna and Guy Ritchie Seeking Advice From Lawyers for DivorceMarriage-on-the-rock rumors which were previously addressed to and husband Guy Ritchie apparently still persist. The pair are one step closer to the end of their marriage than before, separately calling in lawyers for legal advice on a possible divorce.

Madonna, whose fortune is estimated at 300 million pound sterling, is believed to be seeking advice from Fiona Shackleton, lawyer who represented Sir in his high profile divorce from . As for Guy, he is said to have sought legal advice from a lesser-known London legal firm, Forsters.

A source told Mail Online, "Guy and Madonna are at breaking point and have both separately talked to lawyers. Their friends have not ruled out all hope but the situation is dire, to say the least." Meanwhile, another source told Daily Mirror, "Madonna always seeks out the best in whatever field she is interested in at any given time. Fiona Shackleton is the best." One friend of the lawyer added, "Madonna was impressed by Fiona's work for Sir Paul and the way she handles herself in the public eye. She is a consummate professional."

According to The Times, Madonna and Guy had previously used another leading city law firm, Withers, on either a tax or property matter. However, the firm was unable to help Madonna for any potential separation because of its previous involvement with the couple. That is why the case was then passed to Fiona.

While divorce news have already leaked out, Madonna's spokesman, as well as the lawyers who are involved in the case, refused to either confirm or deny the reports.
